Another tradition in our family is to make ghosts and bats and hang them from our ceiling. This was started when Ethan was 2 and I was desperate for an entertaining activity. It began with me cutting and the kids decorating with markers. As the kids have gotten older the activity has expanded to meet their ability. This year we were able to venture into the world of origami bats and ghosts with arms. This year has been my favorite by far.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
This is a simple little blog about me and my family. Nothing fancy, just experiences that make me who I am. Take it or leave it. I'll still be just me.

The cookies were DELICIOUS!!!! :) Thanks!
I love the making decorations idea! I'm always looking for things to do with Chris that are artistic (I'm not artistic at all!). We may have to try that!
This is one of our favorite traditions, too! (The cookies, that is.) They're always gone way too fast, so maybe I should start making a double batch...
I started the same cookie tradition even before I had a child....who can resist??
We definitely need to get a giant drain installed in your kitchen if you are going to keep-up with traditions like this! Your cookies are money!
I think my favorite aspect is the fact the boys are topless...the only way to bake. :)
You are such an awesome mom! You cute kids' faces are all so full of excitement in every picture :) What fun traditions!
How fun!! I love the bats and ghosts!! Way cute!
